Procedures
- Confirm the absence of voltage on all cables using approved testing methods.
- Prepare cables for splicing with precision tools, abrasives, and appropriate solvents.
- Perform splicing on shielded and non-shielded cables using aluminum or copper connectors.
- Install hand-taped, cold shrink, heat shrink, and molded elbow terminations in accordance with Class 1, 2, or 3 standards.
- Operate specified test equipment as required by project specifications.
