Safety

At Grid Mule, safety is the foundation of everything we do. Since our parent company’s founding in 2016, we have maintained a flawless record of zero reported incidents or injuries. This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to protecting our people, our clients, and every project contract we fulfill.

We foster a strong culture of accountability and care that begins before our crews even step on site. Through our internal health and safety certification tracking program, we ensure every employee’s mandated training and certifications are verified and up to date—both at the start of each project and throughout its duration. This proactive approach safeguards our teams and the integrity of the critical infrastructure we help build.

Electrical construction projects involving low voltage (LV), medium voltage (MV), and high voltage (HV) systems demand strict compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. When applicable, our team members maintain the certifications and training required to meet these expectations, including but not limited to:

  • OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 (Occupational Safety and Health Administration – general construction and safety awareness)
  • NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace)
  • First Aid & CPR (emergency preparedness and response)
  • Fall Protection Training (working at heights safely)
  • Confined Space Entry Certification (safe practices in restricted areas)
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training (control of hazardous energy)
  • Qualified Electrical Worker Training (competency in LV, MV, and HV environments)
  • Site-Specific Safety Orientations (client, utility, and EPC requirements)

By maintaining these qualifications, we not only meet federal and state regulatory requirements, but also uphold the highest safety standards demanded by utilities, developers, and EPC partners across the U.S. Safety is not just a policy at Grid Mule—it is a core value that guides every task, every shift, and every project.

Safety First. Always.

We prioritize “safety first” and are committed to providing a clean, hazard-free, and healthy work environment. To achieve this, we strive to comply with and exceed all applicable federal, state, and local occupational health and safety regulations.
